This is Lauren.
I grew up in a family of athletes, so I had a place in the fitness world before I was even born. I played competitive volleyball as a libero (defensive specialist/DS) for 7+ years, I played beach volleyball for one short summer, and have downhill skied almost as long as I've been able to walk. So, as you can probably imagine, the gym has always been a place I can call home. After quickly learning that studying political science in college was not for me in Montreal, Quebec, I took on the prospect of being a personal trainer. I am now certified by The American Council on Exercise (ACE), Functional Movement Screen Level 1 certified, pending Functional Movement Screen Level 2, and I am currently studying to hold a specialty credit in Fitness Nutrition. I love fitness and I want my clients to love it too. I truly believe there is something for everyone to enjoy in the world of exercise; it just takes a little patience, focus, and pride.
When I’m not in the gym myself or working with my clients, there’s a good chance you’ll find me on some snow-packed mountain skiing, or when there is a lack of now, hiking. I love to occasionally volunteer with the 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue and I am always looking for any excuse to be around animals. You might also find me behind the bar on weekends bartending.
